Chief Daniel Moore
Chief Daniel
Moore was first hired by the
LaGrange Police Department as an
auxiliary officer in early 1975.
Chief Moore attended the police
academy and upon being commissioned
by the state of Ohio was hired as a
special part time Officer in mid
1979. While working for the
department as a special Officer he
was promoted to full time police
officer in August of 1981. Later
in the same year he was then
promoted to Sergeant. In May 1982
Chief Moore once again received a
promotion to Lieutenant where he
served until January of 1994. In
1994 he would receive a promotion to
Captain. In December of 1995 Chief
Moore would be promoted to the final
rank of Chief.
