Snow Bans/Snow Removal
~
Whenever snow has accumulated to
a depth of two inches (2") or
more on any curbed street or on
any paved street, parking shall
be prohibited until such time as
snow has been plowed from any
such street. This prohibition
shall not apply to parking in
Public Square.
Curfew
~
Curfew imposed on minors
(any individual under
the age of 18 years) are
as follows.
Sunday through Thursday
between the hours of
10:00 pm- 5:00 am
prohibited
Friday and Saturday
between the hours of
11:30 pm- 5:00 am
prohibited
Sound Making
Devices In Motor
Vehicles ~
Ordinance states
that if a car
stereo produces
plainly audible
noise at a
distance of 100
feet or more it
is prohibited
noise.
If a motor
vehicle is
located within
100 feet of any
school, church
or residential
area and the
sound produced
is louder than
is reasonably
necessary for
the convenient
hearing of the
occupants this
is also
prohibited.
Vehicle Lock Outs ~ If you
have
been
locked
out of
your
vehicle
a towing
company
or
locksmith
will
need to
be
contacted
to
assist
in
opening
the
vehicle.
If the
vehicle
lock out
consists
of a
child
being
left in
the
vehicle
lockouts
will be
handled
by the
police
department.
Due to
civil
liabilities
lockouts
which do
not
include
emergency
status
are
unable
to be
performed.
