The LaGrange Police Department is
open 24 hours a day, seven days a
week, 365 days a year.
If for some reason you have had
your vehicle towed and or
impounded you may need to
acquire a vehicle release from
The LaGrange Police Department.
The LaGrange Police Department
currently utilizes two towing
companies. Fred's Auto Service
located at 697 Main Street in
Grafton, Ohio 440-926-3502 and
Dunlap's located at 41050
Butternut Park Court Elyria,
Ohio 440-458-5168.
Citizen
Fingerprinting
Fingerprinting is NO longer
offered by The LaGrange Police
Department. Due to the state of
Ohio requiring updated
fingerprinting techniques to be
utilized finger print cards are
being rejected more often than
accepted. Due to the new
requirements our police agency
will no longer be able to offer
fingerprinting services to the
public.
Traffic Citations
If you have received a traffic
citation through The LaGrange
Police Department it may have
been issued through LaGrange
Mayors Court or Elyria Municipal
Court. The court which the
citation has been issued through
will be denoted at the base of
the pink copy you have
received. If the citation was
issued through Mayors Court the
court date and time will be
listed also at the base of the
citation. If the citation is
waiver able the municipal
building can be contacted
Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm for
information on fine and court
costs 440-355-555. The citation
may be paid either through mail
or in person. If the citation
was issued through Elyria
Municipal Court a court
appearance will be necessary.

located at 328 Broad Street
Elyria, Ohio 44035 and the phone
is 440-323-1328. Hours of
operation are generally
Monday-Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm.
Once again your court date and
time will be listed at the base
of the citation.
